Gavin George, joint founder of Aquobex, is to deliver a keynote presentation at the forthcoming international conference on Implementing Flood Resilience. Entitled “Innovation – the platform for change”, Gavin’s paper will look at how innovation and new technologies are driving not only a change in approach but also aiding the development of real practical solutions to a problem that is becoming more widespread and increasingly disruptive across Europe.
Commenting on his participation at this international event Gavin said; “Europe has seen far more floods in recent years and as a consequence there is a real appetite for an exchange of ideas and solutions across the region. I am delighted to be able to share my experience with this audience and am sure that I will come away with many new ideas and approaches that will feed into our work at Aquobex.”
Gavin will be joined at the accompanying exhibition, on stand 9 by his co-founder John Alexander, where they will be showing the company’s new Flood Safety Door as well as offering advice on how to make property both more flood resistant and resilient to floods.
The SMARTeST International Conference takes place in Athens, Greece, on the 27th and 28th of September 2012.
