Designed by Baca Architects, the amphibious house has received more recognition as it is set to be occupied next month. The 225 square metre cottage, located on a flood-prone island 10m from the edge of the River Thames in Marlow, Buckinghamshire, is the UK’s first amphibious house—but not its last.
