Surrey Submerged in 2013

Surrey experienced the full force of Mother Nature in the early hours of December 23, 2013 – just two days before Christmas. Gale force winds battered the county, bringing down trees and flipping planes at Redhill Aerodrome, as weather warnings and flood warnings were issued. Little did we know that many of these flood alerts and warnings would remain in place for the best part of two months. Read the full story here.
